HEMS A&E Callout Generator Guide

What is this tool?

This generator helps you quickly configure custom medical & emergency callouts for HEMS. Once you configure your settings, clicking "Generate Mission File" will download a JSON file. Place this file into your mission directory to run it in-game.

Key Sections

  • 1. Core Mission Info: Basic title and description. Crash Variable and Pathologies are located here. The Pathology ID (1-107) corresponds to the specific injuries the patient will have in the game engine.
  • 2. Incident & Rescue Location: Define the starting location and the accident location (Main Coordinates). The Location Macro dictates the name of the location (accident, rescue point, or transfer point).
  • 3. Addon Objects Selector: Select which object libraries you have installed to populate the custom objects list.
  • 4. Medical & Casualties: Choose how many patients (up to 3) and their specific types (e.g., workers, transplant).
  • 5. AI Emergency Vehicles: Toggle whether police, ambulance, or fire engines spawn. Note: The "Closest Ambu" mode is mutually exclusive with standard Police/Ambulance spawns.
  • 6. Advanced Engine Variables: Set technical details like ELT mode, Scene Macros, and Browse Categories. Scene Macro auto-routes to a Mission Number (1=Vehicles, 2=Misc, 3=Injured Only, 4=Transfers).
  • 7. Custom Objects Placement: Place custom 3D objects at specific coordinates. Objects 1, 10, and 15 automatically rotate to face the Accident Coordinates.

Installation Instructions

Once you download your generated callout JSON file, you must install it for it to appear in-game:

  1. Place the .json file inside Community\hpg-airbus-h145-z-andrew-mission-pack\hpgmission. (You can also organize it into a subfolder, e.g., ...\hpgmission\PapiCheesecake_Missions).
  2. Open the Hype Operations Center application.
  3. Navigate to the H145 tab and click UPDATE MISSION INDEX.
  4. You do not need to completely restart the game to play the mission, just restart your current flight!
